The Raft (18 ft/5.5m) ready to Launch from Lee's Ferry, Mile 0 on the Colorado River through Grand Canyon

 

The Navaho Bridges, Mile 4 (6.4km), about 700ft / 200+m above the river

This is the last vehicular crossing of the river for nearly 400m / 640km

 

Under the Navaho Bridges:  the Wide Span is for Vehicles, the Narrow for Pedestrians

The Narrow Span, built in 1929, carried vehicles until the Wider Span opened in 2000
